January 6, 2026 – Los Angeles Police Department officials announce it is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Police Officer II Lynnarowe Vy, Serial No. 44126, who passed away on December 30, 2025, following an illness. Officer Vy was last assigned to Central Area.

Officer Vy is survived by his life partner, Joan; his parents, Steve and Phoeum; and his siblings, Donna, David, Veasna, Panha, and Sergeant I Kevin Vy, who is assigned to Southwest Division.

May you rest in peace, Officer Lynnarowe Vy. We have it from here, and may your infectious smile continue to guide us through.
