January 9, 2026 – Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials report that detectives are seeking the public’s assistance regarding a homicide investigation. On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at approximately 12:09 A.M., Victim Miguel Santoyo Meza, a 39-year-old Hispanic male adult (pictured below), was shot to death in the 4900 block of Clara Street, near the intersection of Wilcox Avenue, in the city of Cudahy.

Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects involved and their vehicle (pictured below), which the suspects were seen entering before the vehicle fled from the scene.
