Detectives Share Suspect Information for Cannabis Burglary 

February 8, 2026 – Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office officials report that detectives are releasing additional information about the suspects arrested on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, in connection with a burglary investigation.

The adult suspect, identified as 21-year-old Abraham Bustos of Lynwood, was arrested after a blue BMW SUV rolled during the incident. Bustos was booked at the Main Jail on multiple felony charges, including burglary, conspiracy, grand theft, felon in possession of a firearm, carrying a loaded handgun, and child endangerment. He has since been released on $100,000 bail.

Two additional suspects, both 17-year-old juveniles, were also arrested. They were booked into the Santa Maria Juvenile Hall on felony charges including burglary, conspiracy, and possession of an unregistered firearm, as well as a misdemeanor charge of obstruction.

This investigation remains ongoing.
