Arrest in the T'Neya Tovar Murder Investigation
February 15, 2026 – Salton City, CA – Imperial County Sheriff's Office officials report that on Friday, February 13, 2026,
at about 7:30 A.M. (0730 hours), the Imperial County Sheriff's Office, Sheriff's Emergency Response Team, in collaboration with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), served a search warrant at a residence in the 2800 block of Harlequin Court in Salton City, California.
As members of the Sheriff's Emergency Response Team made contact at the residence, a male subject, later identified as 51-year-old Abraham Feinbloom, was observed jumping a fence to the residence in what appeared to be an attempt to evade law enforcement. Feinbloom was immediately taken into custody by law enforcement personnel and turned over to Agents with FBI for questioning while the residence was processed for evidence.
Feinbloom was subsequently arrested and booked into the Imperial County Jail for 187(a) PC, Murder and 148(a)(1) PC, resisting a Peace Officer. Feinbloom is being held without bail.
This is a multi-agency investigation, and the Imperial County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Riverside County Sheriff's Office and the Imperial County District Attorney's Office for all the work involved that led to the arrest of Abraham Feinbloom.
