February 22, 2026 – Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials report that the Missing Persons Unit investigators are asking for the public’s help locating At-Risk Missing Person, Verema Evelyn Jurado. She is a 73-year-old Hispanic female who was last seen on February 20, 2026, at approximately 5:00 p.m. at the intersection of Nordhoff Street and Tampa Avenue, in the city of Northridge.     

Verema is 5’03” tall, 130 lbs. with short black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white hat, blue T-shirt, white jacket, black pants and black shoes.

Ms. Jurado suffers from a mental health condition that requires medication and her family is concerned for her well-being. She may be traveling to an unknown church in the Northridge area.
