On August 13, 2025, Truong pleaded guilty to the charge.

According to court documents, between January 26, 2023, and May 10, 2024, Truong conspired with others to distribute massive amounts of methamphetamine, cocaine, and heroin in the Sacramento region. Truong was a significant supplier of drugs to the Sacramento-based drug trafficking organization, and he operated a stash house for the group, which included members of a violent Sacramento criminal street gang.

The Drug Enforcement Administration, the Sacramento Police Department, the Yuba County Sheriff’s Department, and the California Highway Patrol conducted the investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney Jason Hitt is prosecuting the case.

This case is part of Operation Take Back America a nationwide initiative that marshals the full resources of the Department of Justice to repel the invasion of illegal immigration, achieve the total elimination of cartels and transnational criminal organizations (TCOs), and protect our communities from the perpetrators of violent crime.
