Los Angeles County Sheriff Seeks Public’s Help Locating Additional Victims 

March 2, 2026 – Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials report that detectives with the Special Victims Bureau are investigating the allegations of a sexual assault by 30-year-old Alberto Rojas. Mr. Rojas was arrested by Compton Sheriff’s Station deputies on Sunday, February 15, 2026, for the assault of a minor which occurred in the city of Compton.

The case was presented to the District Attorney’s Office at Compton Courthouse and Mr. Rojas was formally charged with three felony counts of Lewd Acts Upon a Child, violation of 288(C)(1) PC. 

Mr. Rojas worked as a youth soccer coach in the area and has had contact with numerous juveniles in the course of that employment. Based on the nature of the offenses, detectives believe there may be additional unidentified victims.
