Murder-Suicide in Devonshire Area
March 4, 2026 – Porter Ranch, CA – Los Angeles Police Department officials report that the Robbery Homicide
Division (RHD) Detectives are investigating the deaths of a male and female in the Porter Ranch neighborhood.
On March 2, 2026, around 9:20 p.m., officers from Devonshire Area responded to a radio call of a murder investigation in the 20700 block of Como Lane. Upon arrival, officers discovered two deceased individuals inside a residence: a 55-year-old female and a 58-year-old male. Both individuals sustained apparent gunshot wounds.
Preliminary investigation determined the male and female were married. Based on the initial findings, the incident is being investigated as a murder-suicide. Their identities are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
There is no indication of any outstanding suspects, and there is no ongoing threat to the community.
The investigation remains ongoing. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
