Monterey County Coroner’s Office Requesting Community Assistance In Locating Family of Deceased Man 

March 11, 2026 – Monterey County Sheriff’s Office officials report that the Monterey County Coroner’s Office needs the public’s help in locating the family of 41-year-old Gerardo Jimenez Lopez, who passed away on February 4, 2026.

The Coroner’s Office has searched numerous databases but attempts to locate family have been unsuccessful.

The decedent was last known to reside in Salinas and was an unhoused individual. It is critical to locate the immediate family members to allow them the opportunity to make proper funeral arrangements.
