Fatal Traffic Collision 

March 20, 2026 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that during the course of this investigation, the suspect was identified as Garaid Jones, a 52-year-old resident of Hemet.

On March 18, 2026, deputies located Jones in the city of Hemet, where he was taken into custody without incident. Jones was transported and booked at the Cois M. Byrd Detention Center for murder. This investigation is ongoing, and no additional information is available at this time.
