Returning Home 

March 24, 2026 – San Bernardino Police Department officials report that last month, officers responded to a reported kidnapping. Thanks to their swift action and dedication, the adult male suspect was quickly identified, and the small child was safely located. We’re grateful to share that she was reunited with her mother unharmed.

The individual involved was not the child’s father, had no legal custody rights, and was not listed on the birth certificate. He has since been arrested and charged with felony kidnapping. The suspect was known to the child’s mother, as they were previously in a dating relationship.

We’re thankful for a safe outcome and proud of the teamwork that helped bring this child home where she belongs.
