Attempted Murder Arrest
March 25, 2026 – San Bernardino Police Department officials report that on March 15th, 2026, Officers responded to a shooting in the 1300 block of West Kingman Street. Officers learned the victim was taken to a local hospital where they met him when he exited a car.
Officers applied a TOURNIQUET to his leg to stop the bleeding before being escorted into the hospital. Assisting officers near the scene were alerted by a vehicle fleeing at a high rate of speed. A traffic stop was conducted where the suspect was apprehended.
A .22 caliber handgun was recovered from inside the vehicle as well. The suspect was arrested on multiple felony charges to include attempted murder. The victim sustained multiple non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
