Unsolved Homicide – Community Assistance Needed 

March 29, 2026 – San Bernardino Police Department officials report that they are seeking the public’s help regarding a homicide that occurred on July 22, 2024, at approximately 10:30 P.M. (2230 hours) in the area of Duffy and Donald Street.

At that time the police discovered a body that had been severely burned and was later identified as Mario Brooks an adult male in his early forties. It was determined that the victim died from blunt force trauma.

Detectives are actively investigating and are asking anyone who may have information to come forward.
