Stolen Property Sting 

April 8, 2026 – Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office officials report that the High Impact Team shut down an online stolen property operation after serving a search warrant at a home on Branham Lane in San Jose last month.

Detectives, led by an investigator from the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office, swept the home and uncovered a stash that included electronic devices, drug paraphernalia, a small amount of methamphetamine, stolen alcohol, marijuana, prop money, and airsoft guns.

Kenneth Garner, 53, was arrested for organized retail theft and receiving stolen property. He later admitted to buying and selling stolen stuff, including high-priced items from The Home Depot.
