Deputy-Involved Shooting (Update)
April 17, 2026 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on April 14, 2026, the Riverside 
Sheriff’s Force Investigation Detail was notified that the suspect, identified as Karim Shakeel Ali, a 30-year-old resident of Beaumont, was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
The autopsy revealed that the cause of death was a self-inflicted gunshot wound. This is an ongoing investigation, and no further information is available at this time.
