Suspect Arrested for Narcotics Sales
April 17, 2026 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that in April 2026, deputies assigned to the Perris Sheriff’s Station Special Enforcement Team began a narcotics investigation within the city of Perris. On April 15, 2026, deputies served a residential search warrant within the 3000 block of Lake View Drive, Perris. During the warrant service, deputies located over 50,000 counterfeit M-30 pills. As a result of the investigation, Ignacio Lares, a 50-year-old resident of Perris, was arrested without incident.
Lares was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for narcotic sales. This is an ongoing investigation, and no further details are available at this time.
