Gunshot Call Handled 

April 27, 2026 – San Bernardino Police Department officials report that officers responded to a call for service after reporting parties heard a gunshot coming from inside an apartment, followed by a female screaming. When officers arrived, they observed a male exiting the apartment. As officers attempted to make contact, the individual ran back inside.

Out of concern for the safety of anyone inside, officers quickly established a perimeter and conducted a surround-and-call-out. Four individuals safely exited the apartment and were detained without incident by Officers.

During the investigation, officers located a firearm inside the residence. Two of the individuals were also found to have outstanding no-bail warrants. All four subjects were ultimately arrested in connection with the incident.

Great work by our officers for safely resolving a potentially dangerous situation and ensuring the safety of the community.
