April 28, 2026 – Sutter County Sheriff's Office officials report that deputies recently responded to a report in the area of N Street in Live Oak that led to the arrest of Kenneth Mosely, who has prior firearm-related charges from an earlier case this year.

During the investigation, deputies learned Mosely had been involved in a series of criminal acts, prompting an immediate response.

When deputies arrived, Mosely fled on foot. A perimeter was quickly established, and after a brief search via drone and K-9, deputies located him hiding in a nearby yard. Mosely was taken into custody without further incident.

Mosely was booked into the Sutter County Jail on multiple charges, including criminal threats, inflicting injury, false imprisonment, resisting arrest, and violating his probation.

This arrest reflects the coordination and teamwork of responding deputies, who worked together to safely resolve the situation and take a potentially dangerous individual into custody.
