May 28, 2026 – Monterey Police Department officials report that on May 21, 2026, at approximately 3:41 P.M., Monterey Police Officers conducted a probation search at an apartment on Helvic Avenue. Upon searching the residence, officers located approximately half a pound of methamphetamine, scales, and other narcotics paraphernalia. Officers arrested Thomas Nonella, 37 years old, and Alison Sheehan, 40 years old, on multiple narcotics-related charges.
Nonella was booked into the Monterey County Jail on charges of 11378 HS - methamphetamine for sale, 182(a)(1) PC - conspiracy, 11395(b)(1) HS - mandated treatment act, 11350(a) HS - possession of fentanyl, 1203.2(a) PC - probation violation, and 11364(a) HS - possession of drug paraphernalia. Nonella was held without bail.
Sheehan was booked into the Monterey County Jail on charges of 11378 HS - methamphetamine for sale, 182(a)(1) PC - conspiracy, 11350(a) HS - possession of fentanyl, 11366 HS - operating a drug house, and 11364(a) HS - possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bail was set at $20,000.
