Homicide Investigation 

June 14, 2026 – Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office officials report that at about 2:30 a.m. on Saturday morning (Saturday 6/13/26), the Communications Center received a 911 call about a stabbing at the 1900 block of Ethan Way. Deputies arrived on scene and located a 51-year-old male with two apparent stab wounds inside of the residence.

Deputies requested emergency medical response and immediately began providing medical attention to the victim. Fire arrived on scene and pronounced the victim deceased.

Deputies determined the suspect had fled the area prior to their arrival. Crime Scene Investigators (CSI) and Homicide Detectives are currently on scene investigating.
