Search Warrant – Alpine
June 29, 2026 – San Diego County Sheriff's Office officials report that recently, deputies from the Alpine Sheriff's Station Crime Suppression Team (CST) received complaints of possible flavored and underage tobacco sales in violation of the law at Alpine Smoke and Vape located in the 2100 block of Arnold Way.
The complaints also alleged the business was selling marijuana and products containing psilocybin.
Through their investigation, deputies confirmed the business was selling illegal products.
On Thursday, June 25, CST Deputies from the Alpine Sheriff's Station and Lakeside Sheriff's Substation, as well as the Sheriff's Marijuana Enforcement Team (MET) and a County Code Enforcement Officer served a search warrant at Alpine Smoke and Vape.
Deputies seized the following items:
- 526 pounds of Kratom products
- 461 pounds of flavored nicotine and vape products
- 25 grams of marijuana
- 11 THC Vape pens/Marijuana cigarettes
- $340 in cash
Additionally, County Code Enforcement noted several code violations within the business.
During the execution of the warrant, an employee was briefly detained. However, no arrests have been made at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
