Suspects Arrested for Organized Retail Theft 

July 16, 2026 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that on July 14, 2026, deputies from the Cabazon Sheriff's Station responded to a theft in progress in the 48000 riverside county sheriff logoblock of Seminole Drive after suspects were observed leaving a store with approximately $1,000 worth of stolen merchandise.

Through a coordinated effort involving Cabazon Station Patrol deputies, the Cabazon Special Enforcement Team, and security personnel, all three suspects were quickly located and detained. During the investigation, deputies determined the suspects had stolen merchandise from approximately seven separate businesses. The total value of the stolen merchandise exceeded $2,000.

The three suspects were identified as 47-year-old Arelene Rodriguez, 42-year-old Guillermo Gonzalez, and 44-year-old Juan Ramirez, residents of Chula Vista. All three suspects were arrested and booked into the Smith Correctional Facility for organized retail theft, multiple counts of theft with prior convictions, and conspiracy to commit a crime. This is an ongoing investigation, and no further details are available.
