Silver Alert Issued for Missing 67-Year-Old Man 

August 5, 2026 – Los Angeles, CA – Los Angeles Police Department officials report that the family and friends of Carter Frederick, along with the Los Angeles Police Department, are seeking the public’s help in locating him.

On August 1, 2026, around 1:00 p.m., 67-year-old Carter Frederick was last seen near the 1200 block of Wilshire Boulevard. Carter Frederick has bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, and his family is concerned for his safety.

Carter Frederick is a White male with brown hair and brown eyes. He stands approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs around 150 pounds. He has a light complexion and was last seen wearing dark pants and socks. His destination is unknown.
