Fatal Traffic Collision - Suspect Arrested 

August 18, 2026 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that the Perris Sheriff's Station Traffic Reconstruction Team continued the investigation and identified Silvia Corona, a 52-year-old female from San Jacinto, as the suspect in the collision.

On August 17, 2026, Corona was arrested and booked into the Cois M. Byrd Detention Center for gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and driving under the influence of alcohol causing injury.
