Silver Alert Issued for Missing 80-Year-Old Man 

August 20, 2026 – Los Angeles, CA – Los Angeles Police Department officials report that the family and friends of Jeff Johnson Jr., along with the Los Angeles Police Department Southwest Division, are seeking the public’s help in locating him.

On August 17, 2026, around 9:20 p.m., 80-year-old Jeff Johnson Jr. was last seen near the 1300 block of West 36th Street in Los Angeles. Mr. Johnson suffers from Alzheimer’s, and his family is concerned for his safety.

Mr. Johnson is described as Black male, with gray hair and brown eyes. He stands about 5 feet and 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 218 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt with “ECKO” print, blue pants, and black shoes.
