November 1, 2026 – San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials report that between October 27, 2026, and San Bernardino County Sheriff Reports Man Armed with a Knife ...October 28, 2026, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department conducted Operation No Tricks. Operation No Tricks was focused on rescuing victims of sexual slavery, identifying and arresting their captors, and disrupting the demand for these vulnerable victims by targeting their customers.

Human Trafficking Investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department's Gangs/Narcotics Division oversaw the countywide operation with the San Bernardino Police Department, Colton Police Department, the California Highway Patrol, the San Bernardino County Probation Department, California Department of Corrections (Parole), the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and local victim advocacy partners.

Over the two days, investigators arrested 29 individuals for solicitation of prostitution and an individual for Pandering. Additionally, investigators rescued three victims of human trafficking who were provided services and resources.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department seeks to identify victims of human trafficking and take all the necessary efforts to rescue them from sexual exploitation. In doing so, we also plan to hold sex buyers accountable for their role in exploiting these individuals operating within San Bernardino County. We will aggressively identify, pursue, and apprehend those who seek to exploit these vulnerable victims. Through proactive enforcement operations, Human Trafficking Investigators diligently work to reduce future demand for sex trafficking by identifying and arresting traffickers and sex buyers and rescuing those forced into sexual servitude.
