Mariposa County Fire Department Call Log
MCFD call log consists of twelve stations located throughout the Mariposa community responding to countywide incidents.

The burn ban has been lifted and hazard reduction burning is now allowed under the following conditions:
1.) You must have a valid burning permit. Permits are issued through your local CAL FIRE station.
2.) Burns are limited to a 4x4 pile encompassed by a 10 foot ring that is free of any flammable materials.
3.) All burning is limited to the hours of 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
4.) A responsible adult must be in attendance at all times with a shovel and a water source.
5.) All fires must be completely out before leaving the area for any reason.
6.) You are required to check the burn day status before you burn by calling (209) 966-1200.
The burn day status can change daily dependent upon conditions so please call on the day you intend to burn.
Mariposa County Fire Department supports the county with 13 volunteer stations located throughout the county. If you are 18 years of age and possess a valid CA driver's license, we would love to hear from you! Positions are available for fire, medical, and various support duties.
