July 25, 2021 -  The US Interagency Wildland Fire Air Quality Response Program Smoke Outlook for the Dixie Fire in Butte and Plumas Counties for Sunday-Monday.

Fire: The Dixie and Fly fires grew actively Saturday. This is expected to continue for the short term. For more detailed fire information go to:
Dixie Fire: https://inciweb.nwcg.gov/incident/7690/
Fly Fire: https://inciweb.nwcg.gov/incident/7716/

Smoke: Smoke blanketed Northeast California and beyond Saturday. Sierra mountain communities and areas East of the Sierra should expect another smoky day Sunday, with widespread potential for very unhealthy air quality. This is definitely the case for those locations closest to the fires- Quincy, Lake Almanor and the Indian Valley. California's Central Valley between Chico and Redding will have air quality ranging from moderate to USG. Details of smoke conditions for the forecast area are listed below.

Health and Safety: Air quality may change rapidly. If you begin to notice health effects from smoke, you are encouraged to follow the "actions to protect yourself" listed below.
