July 28, 2021 - The US Interagency Wildland Fire Air Quality Response Program Smoke Outlook for the Dixie Fire in Butte and Plumas Counties for Wednesday.
Fire: The Dixie Fire is now 217,581 acres with 23% containment.
Smoke: Gentle winds are forecast. For areas close to the fire, the result will be another very smoky day in the mountains and East of the Sierra. The Central Valley should get enough breeze from the West to remain in cleaner air. Towns along US395 from Susanville to Doyle will see smoke again Wednesday.
