Tamarack Fire - August 8 Operations Briefing 

August 8, 2021 - The Tamarack Fire area and surrounding communities will again be affected by smoke from the Dixie Fire today.

Additional containment has been added to the Tamarack Fire, while repair of lands used in the fire suppression effort continues. Operations Section Chief Chris Mason has today's Operations Briefing. Tamarack Fire is at 68,696 Acres, with 80% Containment. There are 407 Personnel actively working this fire.
