Evacuation Warnings

August 17, 2021 - Per the Trinity County Sheriff's Office and Trinity County Office of Emergency Services, an Evacuation Warning is being issued for the communities of Weaverville, Douglas City, and Hayfork.

The Weaverville areas shall include, Oregon St, Sydney Gulch Rd, Leslie Ln, McCoy Ln, Wendy Ln, N miner St, Barbra Ave, Red Hill Rd, Easter Ave, Kelso Ave, Court St, Washington St, Levee Rd, Lance Gulch Rd, Browns Ranch Rd, Pioneer Ln, Martin Rd, Glenn Rd, Masonic Ln, Mountain View St, Timber Ridge Rd, Industrial Pkwy, Little Browns Creek Rd, East Weaver Rd, Brooks Ln and any other roads, lanes, avenues, or ways in the Weaverville area are affected.

The Douglas City areas shall include, Steiner Flat Rd, B Bar K Rd, Jordan Rd, Tucker Hill Rd, and Riverview Rd.

The Hayfork areas shall include, all of Hayfork proper, SR 3 south from Barker Mountain to Hayfork proper, and the north side of Hyampom Rd from Hayfork proper to nine mile bridge.

Area residents and visitors in the above-listed areas if elderly, have medical issues, have small children, or have livestock and pets, need to be prepared to leave the area in case of increased fire activity.

While leaving the area use caution as emergency vehicles assisting with evacuations, structure protection, and fire suppression efforts will be on the roadways.
