Update: The town of Mineral is under IMMEDIATE EVACUATION ORDER. There will be a shelter at the Los Molinos Veterans Hall, 7890 Sherwood Boulevard. Head Westbound on Hwy 36 towards Red Bluff.

The evacuation area extends west to Cold Creek. If you feel as though you should evacuate, please do so.

Deputies will be responding to notify residents as well as a Tehama Alert. If you do not evacuate immediately, Deputies and other First Responders may not be able to assist.

August 18, 2021 - Cold Creek at highway 36, east to the Plumas County line including Mineral proper, north of highway 36 to the Shasta County line, and south of highway 36 to Tamarack Rd.

Head Westbound on Hwy 36 towards Red Bluff.

Evacuation Order: Immediate threat to life. This is a lawful order to leave now. The area is lawfully closed to public access.

SAFETY MESSAGE: The public is reminded to stay vigilant on current fire conditions. Please continue to adhere to road closures and any evacuation warnings. A reminder to drive slowly and yield to emergency personnel in the area. There will be smoke in the respective areas as firefighters continue firefighting operations. If at any time you feel unsafe, please call 911.
