Evacuation Order West Hayfork - Effective Immediately (7:00 P.M.)
Per the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office and the Trinity County Office of Emergency Services, all areas along the south side of Hyampom Rd, from Nine Mile Bridge, east to Cedar Gulch Rd, this includes Drinkwater Gulch, Phares Lane, Doctor Lane, Turkey Track Rd, Old Haywagon Rd, and Digger Rd are now under an Evacuation Order.
Residents in the area should leave immediately.
While leaving the area use caution, as emergency vehicles assisting with evacuations, structure protection, and fire suppression efforts will be on the roadways.
The evacuation shelter is at the First Baptist Church 1261 Main Street, Weaverville.
Monument Fire Northeast Hayfork and Junction City Evacuation Changes
Update 4:00 P.M.: Evacuation Order and Warning changes - Effective Immediately for Northeast Hayfork near Big Creek Road and Barker Valley Road and Junction City.
Reduced to Warning: The area north of SR3, east of Barker Valley Road, south of the fire's edge and west of Alder Gulch at the Alder Gulch dozer line has been reduced to an evacuation warning.
The area north of SR3, east of Big Creek Road, south of the fire's edge and west of Baker Valley Road has been reduced to an evacuation warning.
Removed from Evacuation warning: North of Evans Bar, east of Dutch Creek Road and Red Hill Road extending north to Coopers Bar, south of Upper Road, west of Oregon Summit and outside the Forest Boundary.
Road Closures: For the most up to date road closure information from CalTrans, go to https://roads.dot.ca.gov.
NOTES: Be aware the Shasta Trinity National Forest has closed all areas within its boundary, including National Forest Roads to public use.
The public needs to be aware there is still a concern for residual fire activity in these areas. Fire apparatus and crews will be observed in the area for several days or weeks. Fire activity can change rapidly and the public needs to be vigilant and be ready to move in case the Evacuation Status in the area changes.
All other Evacuation Warnings and Orders remain in effect for the areas.

Knob Fire 3:15 P.M. UPDATE: Due to shifting winds and increased fire activity on the Northeast flank of the Knob Fire, the EVACUATION ORDER has been expanded to all areas east of Highway 299 to the Trinity River, south of Butterfly Creek Road to Friday Ridge Road in addition to the 2:30 P.M. southern order expansion.

Knob Fire Update 2:00 P.M.: Knob Fire Evacuation Order South Fork Road in Salyer - Effective Immediately
August 31, 2021 - Per the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office and the Trinity County Office of Emergency Services, all of South Fork Rd in Salyer, south of SR 299, to the end of South Fork Rd is now under an Evacuation Order.
The Evacuation Shelter locations are located at the Seventh Day Adventist Church 1200 Central Avenue, McKinleyville and the First Baptist Church 1261 Main Street, Weaverville.
Residents in the area should leave immediately. While leaving the area use caution, as emergency vehicles assisting with evacuations, structure protection, ad fire suppression efforts will be on the roadways.
