I try to attend the Board of Supervisors meeting as often as I can. When I cannot be there I listen to it at home.
The lack of decorum on the part of the Chairman is becoming more and more evident of late.
I have heard sarcastic remarks directed to department heads on one or more occasions, but the action at the October 21st meeting took the cake.
When is it justified for the Chairman to tell another Supervisor “don't give me any crap” and second the motion? I was in attendance and could not believe my ears.
I really thought that I was mistaken. I listened to the audio of the meeting and there it was.

I am wondering if he thinks that our BOS meeting is some kind of joke. I don’t mind a little humor, but, these actions go well beyond harmless byplay.
Considering the important issues facing this County why does the Chairman treat the meetings like they are his personal late night show?
He owes the citizens of Mariposa an apology for his behavior, and I would hope that in the future he acts in a more mature manner.
