The Mariposa County Sheriff Department reports on the Westfall Fire;

Update for 6:38 P.M.

Alert: Westfall Fire - Evacuations Lifted

Westfall Fire- All evacuations lifted. Possibly no power in the area.
East Westfall open to residence only. Lots of fire equip in the area, please drive safe.

Update for 5:27 P.M.

Alert: Westfall Fire Evacuation Orders Lifted E. Westfall Triangle - Smithers

Westfall Fire- Evacuation orders have been lifted for homes on East Westfall from Triangle to Smithers including homes on Smithers.

East Westfall is still closed from Smithers to Conifer Road.

No power in the area at this time.

4:19 P.M.- Per the Fire Incident Commander (IC) those residence in the affected evacuation area that have not left their homes can remain in place at their homes. 

3:10 P.M. -  Evacuations ordered: East Westfall, Old Mill, Smithers, Advisements ONLY(NOT EVAC ORDER, SIMPLE FIRE ADVISEMENT) for Vista Largo & Mount Vista

3:00 P.M. - Red Cross Evacuation Center located at New Life Christian 5089 Cole Rd

At  2:50 P.M. - East Westfall closed at Triangle and Chowchilla Mt Rd.

2:43 P.M. -Multiple Evacuations near the 3100 block of East Westfall, Sheriff Units going door to door. 

2:26 P.M. Units responding to a vegetation fire near East Westfall near Oliver Creek. Reports of power lines down in the area.
