July 8, 2017 - A cooling center will open at the Mariposa Library main branch from 12:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Saturday, July 8 and Sunday, July 9.

In accordance with the Mariposa County Heat Emergencies and Cooling Center Procedure, when an Excessive Heat Warning is issued Cooling Centers are opened to aid the community in finding relief from the heat to prevent heat related illness.
