The Mariposa Yosemite Rotary Club, along with other Rotary Clubs in the area, has established a Detwiler Fire Emergency Fund.

According to Mariposa Yosemite Club President, Ophelia McInturff, the Mariposa Yosemite Rotary Club, along with Rotary District 5220, which encompasses most of the Central Valley and Southern Sierra Foothills, have both begun to raise funds and will dedicate them for use in addressing unmet needs resulting from the Detwiler Fire.

Funds will be utilized in coordination with other private and public efforts to ensure that unmet needs can be addressed.  Rotary’s goal is to provide not only monetary assistance, but hands on help to get our affected residents back on their feet.

All contributions will be dedicated to fire relief at the direction of the local Mariposa Yosemite Rotary Club.  Your contributions are much appreciated and are tax deductible.
