Mariposa County Fire Safe Council Director Michael Beaudoin Receiving the Check from Miner's Roadhouse 140's Kelly Stoffan
August 25, 2017 - Mariposa, CA. - Miner's Roadhouse 140 recently provided the Mariposa County Fire Safe Council with a generous $1,147.27 donation from the restaurant’s community of the month program.
Miner's Roadhouse 140 featured the Fire Safe Council during the month of April 2017 to promote public awareness of wildfire prevention and fire safety.
Miner's Roadhouse 140 collaborated with Fire Safe Council Staff to produce a forest green t-shirt to celebrate the contributions that USFS forestry and fire personnel provide to Mariposa’s mountain communities.
The Fire Safe Council will use the donation money to expand their fire prevention outreach programs in the Mariposa community.
The Fire Safe Council and Miner's Roadhouse 140 plan to work together during the restaurant’s 2018 program to continue to raise wildland fire prevention awareness.
