September 1, 2017 - Smoke: A strong high pressure system remains over the area which continue to bring in hotter and drier conditions and light terrain-driven. Expect morning smoke impacts under the inversion in the valleys, then clearing in the smoke 1 9212017afternoon. Wawona, Yosemite West and Ponderosa Basin may see more smoke impacts due to their proximity to the fires. Intensity of smoke will depend on the activity of the fires.
