Michelle Selmon, Senior Climate Specialist with California Department of Water Resources, will be the featured speaker at Progressive Mariposa’s next General Meeting.

The meeting will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Miner’s Roadhouse (5150 Hwy. 140) in Mariposa.

Michelle has been a regional climate change specialist for over 7 years. She works with water managers and other resource managers to consider and incorporate the current and future impacts of climate change into their planning and projects. Michelle also spent 15 years as a wildlife biologist working with sensitive species and habitat in the San Joaquin Valley.

Ms. Selmon’s presentation is open and free to the public, although donations to defray room and program costs are welcome.
