October 13, 2014 - Marilyn Corral, a long time Hospital Foundation Board Director, recently received a $35,000 gift to distribute to the charitable organizations of her choice. 

This gift was from a Foundation formed by the original owners of DHL Airways, Inc.  It was given in honor of her and in memory of Raul Corral, her husband who had recently passed away.  Marilyn had worked for DHL for 25 years.  She worked tirelessly during the company’s start-up, and as the company developed, she moved into the human resources functions.  Raul was involved in the early days of the company and is credited with opening DHL Mexico. 

Marilyn chose to give $5,000 to her church, $3,000 to Mariposa Youth Football, $2,000 to the Mariposa Community Foundation and $25,000 to the JCF Hospital Foundation, of which she designated $5,000 go to the scholarship fund, and $20,000 to the Hospital.  The $20,000 is being used for several items to meet many of the hospital’s technology needs.
