October 14, 2014 - Sometime between 7:00 and 7:30pm Monday night, October 13, 2014 a young girl walking home alone from a friend’s house, on Victoria Lane in Oakhurst, was grabbed by strange man.
According to reports, the child first heard someone scream “Hey!” She stopped and turned around to see who was yelling, and that is when he grabbed her by the hair.
She was able to break free and run to a neighbor’s house for help.
The suspect is described as being Caucasian; tall and thin, in his late 40’s to early 50’s; he has long white and gray hair and had a beard when the incident happened. He was wearing (at the time) a black jean jacket, blue jean pants, and was barefoot.
