The project included the construction of new accessible curb ramps, sidewalks, curbs and gutters and widened the shoulder at and near the intersection of SR-49 and SR-140. The project also added approximately 80 feet of sidewalk and constructed two accessible curb ramps along SR-140 at the intersection of Coakley Circle. This project is a part of a larger $2.2 million project that was awarded to George Reed, Inc.
Caltrans would like to extend our appreciation to motorists and residents for their patience and cooperation during the construction of the Mariposa pedestrian accessibility project.
