November 1, 2017 - Last year the Bootjack 49ers 4-H club found a new meeting location at the Mariposa Lutheran Church located at 4469 Highway 49 South just outside of town. Our club is grateful to the church for providing a place for us to hold our monthly meetings. The Bootjack 49ers wanted to do a service project in return for the church’s generosity, so club members and church members agreed upon replacing the old play structure in the church’s playground area. This project benefits not only the church, but all the groups who meet there as well.
Bootjack 49ers 4-Hers took down the old wood play structure in September and hauled it away. Then, the club built the new metal play structure that the church purchased, in October. Bootjack 49ers are raising funds to finish the playground area with new rubber bark.
The Bootjack 49er 4-H club is thankful for the kindness of the Mariposa Lutheran Church.
Our club’s monthly meeting is the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 P.M. Come join us on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 6:00 P.M. for a welcome dinner, officer installation and our monthly meeting. Everyone is welcome!
