January 30, 2018 - MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is performing one-way traffic control at two locations on State Route 49 (SR-49) and one location on SR-140 for drainage cleaning and inspection.
Work is scheduled as follows:
· Northbound and southbound SR-49 from Varain Road to Allred Road on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
· Northbound and southbound SR-49 from the Cal Fire Station to Whitlock Road in Mariposa on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
· Eastbound and westbound SR-140 from Triangle Road in Midpines to Bear Creek Bridge beginning Thursday, February 1, 2018, through Friday, February 2, 2018, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Motorists should expect 10 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.
Work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/or materials and construction related issues.
