March 7, 2018 - Keith Williams, Elections Registrar, as well as Mariposa County Tax Collector/Treasurer, will be the guest speaker at the next Mariposa Democratic Club Meeting.

The event takes place on Saturday, March 10 at 9:45 A.M. at the Miners Roadhouse, located at the corner of Hwy 140 and 49N.  Anyone wishing to order breakfast should arrive at 9:00 A.M.

Williams is a long-time resident of the county and has worked in county offices since 1991. He became the Assistant Treasurer/Tax Collector/County Clerk in 2003. In 2007 he became Treasurer/Tax Collector/County Clerk.

Prior to working for Mariposa County, he was Vice President of Operations for a manufacturing company in Los Angeles for 10 years. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in business from Saint Joseph's College.

Mr. Williams has been married to his wife Janet for over 25 years. They reside in Bear Valley.

There are many questions about voter registration, open primaries, mail-in ballots etc. that people are curious about and everyone is invited to bring their questions for Williams.

The meeting is open to the public and people are encouraged to attend and learn more about the election process. Free coffee and water will be provided.
