High-Country Health Food and Cafe in Mariposa California

March 17, 2018 - With two special assemblies, one for the older students and one for the younger students, professional storytellers Anne Rutherford and Norm Brecke performed for all Sierra Foothill Charter School students on March 14, 2018. They are master storytellers who not only kept the students engaged with their entertaining stories, but they kept the students involved throughout. Students loved it! It was a very worthwhile assembly.

Rutherford and Brecke traveled from Oregon and performed at multiple Mariposa County elementary schools as well as other schools in a larger region and at community events thanks to the efforts of the Keeping Storytelling in Schools SIG (Special Interest Group).
