Urgent Information for Lake Don Pedro Elementary Families

March 25, 2018 - Mariposa County Unified School District was notified Sunday evening (3/25/18) by the Lake Don Pedro Community Services District that the water at Lake Don Pedro Elementary is contaminated and cannot be used for drinking, hand washing or food preparation.

The school's multi-purpose room, kitchen and office are all unusable due to severe flooding last Thursday. Staff worked tirelessly to prepare to have school open Monday morning, but with the new issue of unusable water, Lake Don Pedro Elementary School must be closed until further notice.
