April 3, 2018 - The Mariposa County Arts Council is giving its annual $500 award to a graduating high school senior residing full-time in Mariposa County.  The applicants will be evaluated on the contribution they have made to the arts – visual arts, performing arts, or media arts - directly to the Mariposa County Arts Council through its programs or through other arts involvement in the community.

All applicants must complete the application form, including a letter of recommendation from someone who is able to substantiate the student’s contribution to the arts.  Deadline for applications is Friday April 27, 2018 by 4:00 P.M.

The completed application and accompanying letter of recommendation must be submitted to the office of the Mariposa County Arts Council located at 5009 Highway 140 (on the top floor of Chocolate Soup).  Hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.  Applications may be mailed to the Mariposa County Arts Council office at PO Box 2134 Mariposa, California 95338.

Finalists for this award will meet in person with the Board of Directors of the Mariposa County Arts Council for a final interview.
