May 2, 2018 - Hello artists, supporters and friends. This is a reminder that the Sierra Art Trails 2018 deadline is 2 weeks away, on Tuesday, May 15th, 2018.
This is our first year using SmarterEntry for the on-line application process.

The Sierra Art Trails Open Studio Tour is the largest art event in our area, showcasing painting, photography, jewelry, sculpture, fiber arts, woodcarving, ceramics, glass, and more! Over the past 15 years, Sierra Art Trails has built a dedicated audience and a reputation for excellence. In addition to visiting with the artists and purchasing works directly from them, visitors explore our communities, visit our hotels and restaurants, and learn more about our area.
As an artist, there are many reasons to participate. Art Trails artists are featured in the tour catalog, benefit from an extensive advertising campaign, and are included in a Sneak Peek exhibit at K-Jewel Gallery in Fresno in August, and the Preview Exhibit at Stellar Gallery in Oakhurst in September. Art sales in 2017 exceeded $120,000. Networking opportunities, offers to participate in other exhibits, and post show sales often result from Sierra Art Trails.
We are very proud of the support we receive from our advertisers and sponsors, including Valley PBS, Valley Public Radio, Visit Yosemite Madera County, K-Jewel Radio, Sierra Telephone, The Fresno Philharmonic, the Madera and Mariposa Art Councils, and many other businesses, organizations, and individuals that contribute to the event!
SIERRA ART TRAILS 2018 will take place – Friday, October 5th through Sunday, October 7th – 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The Preview Exhibit at Stellar Gallery will open on Saturday, September 8th with a Gala Reception on Saturday, September 15th.
The Sneak Peek Exhibit at the JewelFM Gallery in Fresno will open on Thursday, August 2nd.
